Setting the PaCE: Patient and Clinician Engagement

Granite Falls, North Carolina – Dr. Ed Bujold along with Dr. Hazel Tapp and Ray Haeme will present a symposium on patient and clinician engagement on October 11, 2017. The event will be held from 10am-2pm at the Carolinas Medical Center-Mercy Auditorium (2001 Vail Ave, Charlotte, NC). Symposium topics will include the PaCE concept and background, primary care research, an introduction to PCORI, advocacy, patient engagement, how to form a patient advisory council and discussions on patient engagement in primary care research. PaCE strives to develop a national community of primary care providers and patients that will nurture primary care research and ultimately improve care for patients, families and their communities. The symposium is open to medical practitioners and the general public. Lunch will be provided. Dr. Bujold is available for appointments at his practice location in Granite Falls.
